Anyone here ever had a girl leave a note with her number under the windshield wiper? It happened to me once years ago when I left my 1966 Impala outside the pub, but my 1969 Newport has never performed that trick before.

Full disclosure: Girl was cool but ultimately a bit loopy and it didn’t really go anywhere more than a coffee date.

Many years ago.

My buddy and I went to a Sears to buy a floor jack in his 72 Duster.

Two girls in a Volare parked across from us at about the same time. We did the smile and nod thing and went on our way.

When we came back to the car there were two numbers and, no joking, physical descriptions. (One was insanely skinny, the other Elizabethan)

This was around 1989-90.
